Fellowes is a family owned and operated company and is synonymous
with quality and innovation. Fellowes products are sold in over
100 countries and they employ over 1200 people worldwide.
Fellowes was founded in 1917 by Henry L Fellowes when he purchased
a fledgling box business that manufactured and sold a corrugated
filing box designed for bank records.
Fellowes product lines expanded to meet the demands of office
environments over the next 60 years, the boxes turned into entire
systems of efficient records management.
As technology has moved into mobile devices like laptop computers,
cell phones and PDAs, Fellowes has developed innovative products
to facilitate their use.
Fellowes started distributing commercial shredders in the United
States on 1982, from a German company. However by 1990 Fellowes
had designed and manufactured its own product – the first
ever personal shredder.
Fellowes started an international presence by starting their
UK operation in 1972 and today Fellowes produces and exports to
no fewer than 100 countries.
